Osher Günsberg has opened up about his fiery exchange with Dancing with the Stars judge Craig Revel Horwood.
ICYMI, in the most recent episode of Dancing with the Stars, Craig called the former Bachelor host’s Tango a “right royal mess.”
And instead of graciously taking the harsh comment with a smile, like most contestants do, Osher clapped back (king behaviour, if you ask us).
“Would you like to try going down that perspex ramp in those heels, sir? You are more than welcome to show me how to do it,” he said.
The two continued to exchange several sharp barbs until Sonia Kruger jumped in and took Osher backstage.

Later in the episode, Osher was eliminated.
Considering the whole affair was recorded a while ago (yes, Dancing with the Stars is not filmed live), you might wonder whether Osher regrets verbally sparring with Craig.
He doesn’t.
Osher has told Yahoo Lifestyle that he was glad he could give Craig the perfect opportunity to “do the thing that he’s there to do.”
Which is to be the “baddie judge.”

“But at the same time, I worked my a** off and I tried really hard,” Osher added.
“I was never going to be a technically perfect person at it, but it was like, come on, man! If you’re going to critique me, give it a shot yourself and let’s see what happens! I thought it was pretty fun,” he continued.
“Don’t get me wrong, [Craig’s] critique is not without warrant. He has fair points. I watched the show, I know he wasn’t inventing it. It was just an opportunity to kind of play with that dynamic and see what would happen.”
Osher went on to reveal that being on Dancing with the Stars took a toll on his mental health.
After his elimination, he sought out the show’s psychologist as he “wasn’t doing very well” and quickly came to the realisation he craved external validation more than he realised.

“I finished shooting in March, so I’ve been able to spend the last couple of months, every day, kind of looking at my own self-worth and looking at my ego and looking at my self-esteem and my value, and I’m in a very different place from what I was,” Osher said.
“It’s really important to understand where we are making our decisions from, and if I’m making my decisions from a place of, ‘I want you to like me’, then I’m not making decisions in alignment with my values, and it can lead us astray,” he continued.
Osher then amended he would handle his spat with Craig differently if he had the chance to do it over.
“If I did it again today, the playfulness would still be there, but I can hear a tone in my voice that my feelings were hurt. And I’d like to think that wouldn’t be there so much,” he said.
“But I’ll have to wait until they invite me back on All Stars 2: Revenge of the All Stars.”
