The 2025 Gold Logie nominees have officially been announced and, in exciting news, the majority of them are women!
Ahead of this year’s ceremony, get to know each and every nominee below…
The 2025 Gold Logie nominees:

Lynne McGranger
Lynne McGranger began her working life as a primary school teacher before turning to the performing arts in the late 1970s and early 1980s – studying acting, dance, mime and gymnastics at Penrith’s Q Theatre and appearing in musicals such as Bye Bye Birdie and West Side Story.
In January 1993, Lynne took over the role of Irene Roberts on Home and Away, initially as a guest but quickly promoted to regular cast.
She played the character for over 32 years, becoming Australia’s longest-serving female soap actress, before departing the soap in March 2025; Lynne’s final scenes as Irene will air in August 2025.

Ally Langdon
Allison ‘Ally’ Langdon is a respected Australian journalist, author and television presenter known for her dynamic storytelling and in-depth reporting.
After studying journalism at Charles Sturt University and undertaking a CBS internship in New York, Ally began her media career producing Nine’s Nightline in 2001, then the 6pm National Nine News and working in the Darwin newsroom, where she won the David Marchbank Award for Best New Journalist.
From 2011, she reported for 60 Minutes, covering global hot spots and major events, and in 2020, she became co‑host of Today.
In January 2023, Ally replaced Tracy Grimshaw as the host of A Current Affair, which ultimately earnt her a Logie for Best News Presenter in 2024.

Hamish Blake
Hamish Blake OAM is one of Australia’s most beloved entertainers.
Rising to fame in 2003 alongside Andy Lee, their duo ‘Hamish & Andy’ anchored Australia’s highest‑rating drive‑time radio show of all time, drawing over 2.5 million weekly listeners.
They expanded into television with popular series like Gap Year – for which Blake won a Gold Logie in 2012 – and later hosted True Story with Hamish & Andy and the global travel specials Hamish & Andy’s ‘Perfect’ Holiday.
As a solo star, Hamish has hosted Lego Masters Australia, earning a second Gold Logie and the inaugural Bert Newton award in 2022.
He received the OAM in the 2024 King’s Birthday Honours for his service to entertainment and the community, and now Ham is up for his third Gold Logie.

Poh Ling Yeow
Poh Ling Yeow is a Malaysian‑born Australian cook, artist, author and television presenter who first captured public attention in 2009 – when she came second in the debut season of MasterChef Australia.
Her popularity led to her own ABC cooking show, Poh’s Kitchen and the SBS documentary‑style series, Poh & Co.
Not to mention Poh has authored several bestselling cookbooks.
In 2024, Poh returned to MasterChef Australia as a judge.

Julia Morris
Julia Morris is a celebrated Australian comedian, actor, writer and TV presenter.
She first appeared, aged 17, on New Faces and by the mid‑1990s became a household name via sketch comedy Full Frontal.
After relocating to the UK in 2000, Julia hosted Liquid News, appeared on QI, and won the Edinburgh Festival’s Herald Angel award in 2001.
After returning to Australia in 2007, she hosted Australia’s Got Talent and co‑hosted Chris & Julia’s Sunday Night Takeaway.
And for the last ten years, Julia has co‑hosted I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Australia.

Lisa Millar
Lisa Millar launched her journalism journey in 1988 as a cadet on The Gympie Times.
She then worked at The Sun in Brisbane and regional TV in Townsville before joining the ABC in 1993 as a North Queensland correspondent.
Lisa reported federal politics, hosted Stateline in Queensland, and eventually became the ABC’s foreign correspondent and bureau chief in Washington and London, contributing to major global coverage and earning a Walkley Award in 2005.
From 2018 to 2024, Lisa co‑hosted ABC News Breakfast.
She then shifted focus to narrating Muster Dogs, guest‑hosting Back Roads and co‑hosting The Newsreader podcast.

Sonia Kruger
Sonia Kruger is an Australian television presenter, actress and former ballroom dancer.
After starring as Tina Sparkle in Strictly Ballroom and helping shape its choreography, she transitioned to television – reporting on 11AM, Sunrise and Today Tonight before becoming co‑host of Dancing with the Stars for 11 seasons from 2004.
In 2012, Sonia joined the Nine Network to host Big Brother Australia and the daytime show Today Extra.
Now back at Seven, Sonia fronts The Voice Australia and Dancing with the Stars; not to mention she won the Gold Logie in 2023.
