If you were a Swiftie in the original Speak Now, Red and 1989 eras, you’ll know that Taylor Swift blessed us with not one perfume but five!
My personal favourite was Taylor by Taylor Swift and, in 2016, I may have frantically driven around Sydney, buying multiple bottles of it when I found out it was getting discontinued – I currently have one bottle and one eighth of another bottle left.
So, because I’m starting to run low, I decided to go on a dupe journey as all of Taylor’s perfumes are now discontinued and are virtually impossible to find.
These are the fragrances that genuinely smell the same or extremely similar to Taylor’s perfumes – yes, I tried all five back in the day because she was (and still is) my idol…
The best Taylor Swift perfume dupes:

Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift
In 2011, Taylor released a beautiful teaser video on YouTube (which you can watch above) and, at the time, I may have clowned and theorised it was a sneak peek at an Enchanted music video…
Of course, it turned out to be a snippet of an ad for Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift – her first ever perfume.
The fragrance was floral yet fresh with top notes of raspberry, dewberry, green tea, freesia and apple blossom.

The heart featured sweet vanilla, sundrenched honeysuckle and white hibiscus, and the base notes were made up of golden amber, musk, sandalwood and peach.
Oakcha’s Lost in Ink is a great dupe for Wonderstruck as it has the exact same notes.

Wonderstruck: Enchanted by Taylor Swift
In 2012, Taylor released Wonderstruck: Enchanted by Taylor Swift, which was a little sweeter and fruiter than its predecessor.
It featured top notes of wild berries, pink poppy and passion fruit, middle notes of peony blossoms, sugar-glazed champaca petals and white freesia, and base notes of white musk, hypnotic vanilla and blonde woods.

If you’re looking for a similar scent, look no further than Àerre’s London City Lights.
Admittedly, it’s not the exact same as Wonderstruck: Enchanted but it’s extremely close with top notes of strawberry, sour cherry and mandarin, middle notes of violet and jasmine, and base notes of vanilla, musk, blonde woods and amber.

Taylor by Taylor Swift
Taylor by Taylor Swift was first released in 2013 and was more ‘grown up’ than her first two fragrances.
It was floral and fruity but with a woody base – featuring top notes of lychee, tangerine and magnolia petals, middle notes of peony, hydrangea and vanilla orchid, and base notes of sandalwood, apricot nectar, cashmere musk and soft woods.

Whif has released a perfume inspired by Taylor called Luminous Aura and it does smell pretty much the same – likely because the notes are very similar.
Luminous Aura has top notes of lychee, tangerine, and magnolia petals, middle notes of peony, vanilla orchid and hortensia, and base notes of sandalwood, apricot nectar, cashmere musk and woody notes.

Taylor by Taylor Swift Made of Starlight edition
This limited edition of Taylor was released in 2014 and featured top notes of apricot, passion fruit and mandarin leaves, middle notes of osmanthus, sweet honeysuckle and orange blossom and base notes of musk, peach and precious wood.

Sadly, there’s nothing on the market that’s the same as Made of Starlight but Narciso Rodriguez’s For Her is similar.
It has top notes of peach and rose, a middle note of musk, and base notes of patchouli and amber.

Incredible Things by Taylor Swift
The last perfume Taylor ever released was Incredible Things by Taylor Swift and it also hit shelves in 2014.
It featured top notes of pink pepper and grapefruit, middle notes of vanilla orchid, wild passion flower and suede flower, and base notes of white amber, creamy musk, vanilla and vetiver.

A great alternative to Incredible Things is Omnia Pink Sapphire by Bvlgari.
The perfume has top notes of pink pepper, pomelo and pink grapefruit, middle notes of tiare flower and frangipani, and base notes of vanilla and musk.

Tom Ford Santal Blush
Wondering why a Tom Ford scent is featured in an article about Taylor Swift perfumes?
Well, Santal Blush is Ms Swift’s fragrance of choice.
Eagle-eyed fans spotted a bottle of Tom Ford’s Santal Blush in a scene that was filmed at Taylor’s house in the documentary Miss Americana.

Plus, Taylor exclaimed at the 2024 VMAs when a fan said she smelled good, “Oh thank you, it’s Tom Ford!”
Santal Blush has a woody smell with notes of sandalwood, cinnamon, and ylang ylang.
