My Kitchen Rules 2024 Contestants

Janey & Maddie – VIC
Having a taste for the finer things in life, mother-daughter duo Janey and Maddie are hoping to impress the judges with their high-end flavour experience.
Not ones to skip on the side dishes, Janey and Maddie’s instant restaurant is set to come complete with “all the trimmings” of a home-cooked classic.
“I love food and I love being competitive, so it’s a perfect match for me,” Janey told Seven, with Maddie adding, “Mum and I have always loved cooking and I thought [My Kitchen Rules] would be an amazing experience for us to share.”

Caz & Fergus – NSW
While he may have made a name for himself in the music world, Fergus and his mum Caz are also hoping to make their mark on the kitchen with their classic home-cooked menu.
“Cooking is a way to bring everyone together and share something delicious over a bottle of wine,” Fergus told Seven.
With a light-hearted approach that’s full of love, this mother-son duo hope to impress the judges with their family food favourites.

Robert & Andrea – NSW
Hoping to take home the My Kitchen Rules win with their German cuisine, ex-pats Robert and Andrea’s menu is set to transport the judge’s tastebuds.
Touting roast pork, potato dumplings, and cabbage as their go-to dinner party dish, the couple are eager to impress their fellow contestants through their unique flavour experience.

Ash & Cassie – SA
As self-professed “food science nerds, dietitians and friends Ash and Cassie are hoping to educate their fellow contestants with their healthy-eating menu.
Incorporating flavours from both Meditiarian and Asian cuisine, the duo are on a mission to deliver both nutrition and flavour, with Cassie telling Seven, “I have what it takes to win with Ash by my side while using healthier alternatives. I want to show Australia that tasty meals can also be healthy.”

Rob & Liam – VIC
As brothers, Rob and Liam are the best of friends but also the fiercest of competitors.
Combining their love of family time in the kitchen with a keen eye for the perfect BBQ beef, the duo hope their “cooking with fire” approach and technical skill impress the judge’s tastebuds.

Mike & Pete – WA
Joining the competition from the sunny shores of Western Australia, long-time friends Mike and Pete join fellow contestants Simone and Viviana in their quest to showcase their passion for authentic Italian home cooking.
“I’ve never had a bad review on my cannoli,” Pete tells Seven, with Mike adding, “We are going. to have one of the best instant restaurants in MKR history.”
With a menu set to be stacked with tried-and-true favourites, the duo will also bring an extra touch of spice to the table through their honest critiques and unfiltered banter.

Hannah & Lawrence – WA
While My Kitchen Rules may be about sharing the love of food or cooking your way closer to the prize money, for couple Hannah and Lawrence, a win would bring them sailing into the next chapter of their romance.
“If we win MKR, I’m dropping on one knee. That’s non-negotiable,” Lawrence told Seven, adding that his relationship with Hannah was his catalyst for becoming a die-hard foodie.
“For a long time, food and cooking didn’t mean a lot to me. It was merely a means to stay full. After meeting Hannah, that all changed. I now see why food and family are so intertwined.”
With their love of food and each other running their kitchen, the lovebirds hope to utilise their complimentary cooking styles to impress the judges.

Danny & Sonia – QLD
Hailing from far-north Queensland, siblings Danny and Sonia are hoping to bring their passion for food and signature Aussie culinary charm to the kitchen.
“We didn’t have a lot growing up, but we did have love and we did have food,” Sonia shared, adding that the duo’s love of food was born from their childhood of hunting, fishing, and cooking.
Welcoming the judges into their home, the siblings share that their goal for their menu is “doin’ it for everyday Aussies.”

Simone & Viviana – QLD
As the first contestants announced for the 2024 season, Brisbane-based foodies Simone and Viviana are hoping to make a lasting impression with their Italian cuisine.
Hailing from Italy, the couple shared that their menu will deliver “Italian with a twist” – showcasing bold new flavour combinations and exquisite presentation of signature staple dishes.
While we’ve yet to learn more about this year’s first competitors, based on Colin and Manu’s glowing feedback in their promotional video, we can expect Simone and Vivana to be fierce competitors in this year’s season!
