Lindy Klim, Balinese princess and upcoming celebrity contestant on The Amazing Race, has recently given an insight into how she’s feeling post-hospital.
“I’m not very good actually,” she told WHO in a joint interview with her model daughter, Stella Klim, on August 27.

“That’s why I don’t have my camera on… I look like death.”
“I’ve had days in bed still, and it’s just never ending, but hopefully I’ll get better soon. It’s um… It’s a struggle,” she said.
What was Lindy Klim in hospital for?
The update comes after the 46-year-old revealed to her Instagram followers on August 25 that she had been in hospital battling a kidney infection for a few days.
“I’m alive just!” she captioned over an image of her lying in bed. “Wow this thing really knocked me around.”

Lindy also posted a photo of her 14-year-old daughter, Frankie, caring for her.
She also shared that her partner, Paul Mullert, has been a steady support throughout her illness.
Fans quickly sent well wishes, though many expressed concern for the mum-of-four, who takes pride in her health and wellbeing.
Will it affect her appearance on The Amazing Race?
Luckily for Lindy, season 9 of The Amazing Race was filmed back in March and concluded in April of 2025.

Lindy is joined by her daughter, Stella Klim, whom she shares with ex-husband Michael Klim, as they embark on the adventure around Asia this season.
“I think for us, like, it’s just the opportunity to be able to travel together, and to do something together,” Lindy said about why she joined the series.
“We just moved back to Australia from Indonesia, and we’re settling back in, and it’s just a nice bonding moment for the two of us.”
The Amazing Race Celebrity Edition season 9 will premiere September 8 at 7.30pm on Channel 10.
